St Mary’s Players are an award winning, non-professional theatre company from Bristol, UK. We perform two shows a year, a musical at The Redgrave Theatre in Clifton at Easter, and a musical review at Page Hall, Staple Hill, where we also meet and rehearse on a weekly basis.
Our next production:
Following our sell-out run of Come From Away, St Mary’s Players Musical Theatre Company are delighted to return to the Redgrave Theatre in April 2027 with Pirates! The Penzance Musical.
Get ready for a riotous adventure where Gilbert and Sullivan meets the vibrant spirit of New Orleans, with toe-tapping jazz, swashbuckling pirates and larger-than-life characters. Follow Frederic as he navigates love, a band of surprisingly soft-hearted pirates, a troop of eccentric sisters and one very memorable Modern Major-General!
Packed with comedy, catchy rhythms and plenty of mischief, this fresh and fun take on a much-loved classic promises a theatrical voyage like no other. So grab your doubloons and join us for a little jazz, a lot of laughs and a whole heap of pirate chaos!
